FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) Costco held their inaugural Trunk or Treat event in the Carlson Center parking lot on Saturday from noon until 4 p.m.

According to Brad Boyer, the Membership Marketing Manager for Costco, over 35 vendors participated providing games, treats and more. He went on to say over 400 kids braved the cold for candy.

The event cost was $3 per child, and Boyer explained how the proceeds get used, saying “What’s different about this one is all the proceeds from this event to the local Children’s Miracle Network".

Boyer says Costco is looking at holding this event every year. He says they may hold it early in the year because of the weather.
