The Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitor Center was evacuated due to threats

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - According to court documents, Everette Horace of Fairbanks entered the building, appearing to be intoxicated. He was reportedly making statements, saying he was “Just giving up” and “If you want to be safe, you better leave.” Horace also was saying that the building was going to collapse. Employees from the MTCVC contacted 911 and evacuated the building. When questioned by the FPD, an employee said Horace had left. Horace was found and arrested. He was charged with a class C Felony for Terroristic Threatening in the second degree.
