BETHEL, Alaska (AP) - The body of a southwest Alaska man missing since October has been recovered from a river. Alaska State Troopers say a body tentatively identified as 21-year-old Wassillie Keene was found floating Saturday in the Johnson River about 4 miles up from the Kuskokwim River. Keene was last seen Oct. 24 as he operated his boat alone. Troopers found Keene's wallet and identification in a pocket.

On 04-30-19 at approximately 2330 hours, Alaska State Troopers in Fairbanks conducted a traffic stop on a 1994 Ford pickup for a moving violation on Geist Road in Fairbanks. Investigation revealed Matthew Huey, age 34 of Fairbanks, was operating the vehicle while impaired by alcohol. Matthew was arrested on one count Driving Under the Influence and Misconduct Involving a Weapon in the 4th degree. Matthew was remanded to Fairbanks Correctional Center. Bail was set at Own Recognizance.

On 5-1-19 at approximately 1032 hours, Troopers conducted a traffic stop near Goldstream Road on a vehicle for multiple violations. The driver was identified as Perry Norskog, 38 of Fairbanks. Investigation determined Perry had two outstanding warrants for his arrest. Troopers arrested Perry for the outstanding warrants and remanded him to FCC.

On 4/15/19, at approximately 1535 hours, the Alaska State Troopers, Child Abuse Investigation Unit, received a report that Michael Felch, age 62, had inappropriate contact with a child under the age of 13. The child was interviewed at the Children's Place, in Wasilla, and disclosed being sexually abused by Michael Felch. Michael Felch was interviewed and corroborated some of the statements made by the 8 year old and denied others. Michael Felch was indicted on one count of Sexual Abuse of a Minor I, and two counts of Sexual Abuse of a Minor II. Michael Felch is a licensed foster parent but only had one placement and currently has no children in the home. A warrant was issued for the arrest of Michael Felch, with no bail until arraignment.

On 05/01/2019 at approximately 0815 hours the Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in the area of Fairview Loop in Wasilla. Investigation revealed 35 YOA Morgan Rooney of Wasilla caused injury to the victim using a dangerous weapon. Rooney was remanded to Matsu Pretrial pending arraignment.

On 04/30/2019, at approximately 2212 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to an address on Dean Drive in Wasilla for a report of warrant arrest. Investigation revealed that Jacob Still, age 36 of Wasilla, had two outstanding warrants for his arrest and was located inside the residence underneath a pile of clothes and other items. Still was arrested and transported to the MATSU Pre-Trial Facility where he was remanded with a bail of $1,000.00 Cash Corporate and $500.00 Cash performance.

On 04/30/2019 at approximately 2144 hours, AST received a report of a disturbance between William Karron, 35yo, and Stephanie Blackburn, 40 yo, in Sterling, AK. A short time later William called 911 reporting Stephanie drove off intoxicated.

Contact was made with Stephanie at her residence. Further investigation revealed Stephanie had driven her vehicle while intoxicated. Stephanie was arrested and charged with DUI.

On 04/30/2019 at 1439 hours, Soldotna Alaska State Troopers received a report of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Alaska State Troopers along with Emergency Medical Services responded and found a 16 YOA had committed suicide while alone at his Nikiski residence. The individual was taken by Lifeflight to Anchorage where he later succumbed to his injuries. No foul play is suspected.

On 04/30/2019 at approximately 2028 hours, Soldotna AST received a report of a fight in progress at the Johnson Lake Campground near Kasilof. AST responded and the investigation revealed Bryce Wiley, age 21 of Kasilof assaulted a family member. Bryce Wiley was arrested for Assault in the 4th degree Domestic Violence and transported to Wild Wood Pre-Trial.

On 04/30/2019 at approximately 2158 hours, Soldotna AST received a call in regards to a suspicious vehicle parked in the Soldotna Area. AST responded and contacted Drennen Swenson 32 of Soldotna. Investigation Swenson was intoxicated and was arrested for Driving Under the Influence. Swenson was arrested and transported to Wild Wood Pre-Trial Facility.

On 2-27-19, the Alaska Wildlife Troopers received a report of a moose calf shot off Rex-Bell Drive in Pt. McKenzie. Investigation revealed Thomas Saddler, age 64 of Pt. McKenzie, shot an antlerless calf moose out of season and then concealed it with James Eychaner, age 28 of Wasilla, in Saddler's garage. The moose was seized and the meat donated to charity. On 3-1-19, Saddler was arrested for parole violations stemming from the moose offenses. Eychaner was subsequently convicted of unlawful possession of illegal game and sentenced to a $520 fine and $1000 restitution for the moose. On 5-1-19, Saddler pled guilty to taking a moose closed season, two merged counts of unlawful possession of game, and one count of compounding. Saddler was sentenced to fines of $1500 with $1000 suspended for take moose closed season, $1500 with $1000 suspended for two merged counts of unlawful possession, 30 days in jail with 30 days suspended for compounding. The moose and equipment seized were forfeited and Saddlers hunting privileges were revoked for two years. Saddler has so far served 61 days in jail for his parole violations stemming from the wildlife offenses. Saddler was also sentenced to pay $1000, joint and several with Eychaner, in restitution for the moose.
