On 04-24-19 at approximately 0110 hours, Alaska State Troopers in Fairbanks contacted Henry Ekada, age 19 of Fairbanks, at a residence on Bluegill Road in Fairbanks. Investigation revealed Ekada had an outstanding arrest warrant for an underlying charge of DUI and Minor Operating after Consuming Alcohol. Ekada was arrested on his warrant and remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center. Bail was set at $500.

On 4/24/2019, at approximately 0825 hours, Fairbanks AST responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision on Bradway Rd. at Atigun St. Investigation revealed that Andrew Bell, age 18 of North Pole, was operating his vehicle without insurance on a roadway. Bell was issued a Misdemeanor citation for operating a vehicle with no liability insurance with a promise to appear in court.

Type: Burglary After the Fact

On 4/20/19 at approximately 1647 hours, Soldotna Base AST received a report of a burglary after the fact a residence on Carver Drive in Kenai. Investigation revealed the residence was forcibly entered and many items from within the residence had been stolen. At his time, investigation is on going and AST is in the process of identifying any possible suspects.

Investigation revealed Donald W. Gabree, age 51 of Nikiski, entered the resilience by force with the intent to steal property. Gabree was also found to have tampered with the evidence. Further investigation revealed Gabree was on conditions of release from a prior incident. On April 24th, 2019, Gabree was arrested for Burglary I, Theft II, Tampering with Physical Evidence, and VCOR. Gabree was transported to the Wildwood Pretrial Facility where he was remanded and held without bail. This is an ongoing investigation and additional suspects have been identified.

On 4/18/19 at 0915 hours, Troopers received information that a sex offender had moved to NJ Court in Anchor Point and was not registered. An investigation showed Robbie Satterwhite, 51 of Anchor Point, was a convicted sex offender and he failed to register after changing his residence address. Satterwhite was given summons to appear in court and released.

Bradley Kato, age 32 of Klawock, participated as a permit holder in the 2019 herring pound fishery near Craig. On 4/3/19 at 1330 hours, Alaska Wildlife Troopers on Prince of Wales were patrolling the herring grounds and observed that Kato still had herring in his pound, and had not opened his pound by noon on the seventh day as required by the management plan. Kato was cited for violating 5AAC27.185(s), specifically, failing to release his herring by noon on the seventh day after they were introduced.

On 04/23/2019, at approximately 2133 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to an address in vicinity of Sourdough Drive in Wasilla for a report of a burglary. Investigation revealed that sometime between 0000 hours on Sunday 04/21/2019, and 2130 hours on 04/23/2019, suspect(s) forcibly entered the dwelling resulting in damage to the residence. On 04/23/2019 at approximately 2109 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a motor vehicle collision on the Parks Highway near Stanley Drive. Investigation revealed Beverly Datri, age 59 of Anchorage was northbound on the Parks Highway in her 1996 Ford pickup when she struck a 2017 Chevrolet Traverse which was stopped for a red light. Further investigation revealed Datri was operating her vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. The occupants of the Traverse were transported to Matsu Regional Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries. Datri was arrested for DUI and Assault 3rd times 2 and remanded to Matsu Pretrial where she was held without bail.

On 04-24-19 at 0638 hours, Alaska State Troopers received the report of a theft from a vehicle on Cottonwood Loop in Wasilla. Investigation reveals someone stole multiple Dewalt brand cordless tools from an unlocked work van parked at a private residence some time during the night. There are no suspects or leads at this time. Anyone with information is encouraged to call Trooper dispatch at 352-5401.

On 4-22-19 at 1250 hours, Alaska State Troopers dispatch received a report of a theft from a property near mile 70 of the Glenn Hwy. Investigation reveals someone entered a property sometime in the last two weeks and stripped multiple items off a Western snow plow. Items removed include the hydraulic hoses, stand, pump, lights and controls for an estimated $1,500 loss. Anyone with information is encouraged to call Trooper dispatch at 352-5401.

On 4-21-19 at 0927 hours, Alaska State Trooper dispatch received a report that someone stole two gas cans from a yard on North Calero Drive. Troopers responded to investigate. Investigation shows someone entered the victim's driveway at approximately 2100 hours on 4-20-19 as shown on a home security camera system. A male was seen walking into the yard and removing two full 5 gallon fuel cans and leaving in a distinctive blue mid 1990s Chevrolet Blazer. On 4-23-19, AST located the vehicle and the suspect off of Fairview Loop. Charges are being forwarded at this time.

On 4/21/2019 at 1205 hours, Alaska State Troopers contacted Shawn Saccheus, 33 YOA of Elim, in Nome. Shawn was found to have an arrest warrant on the original charge of Reckless Driving. Shawn was arrested and transported to AMCC where he was held without bail with 30 days to serve.

On 4/20/2019 Alaska State Troopers were notified that Henry Noongwook, 83 YOA of Savoonga, was deceased at his residence of apparent natural causes. No foul play is suspected and next of kin were present on scene. The body has been released to the family.

On 4/23/19 at approximately 1200 hours, the Ekwok VPSO arrested Charles Akelkok, age 45 of Ekwok, for violating his conditions of release and violating his probation by consuming alcohol. Akelkok was transported and booked at Dillingham Jail without bail pending arraignment.

On 4-24-2019 at approximately 0745, Dillingham based Alaska State Troopers responded to the village of Manokotak for a reported disturbance. An investigation disclosed Patrick Toyukak, age 26 Of Manokotak, had assaulted family members. Toyukak was arrested and later remanded to the Dillingham Jail with no bail pending arraignment. Alcohol is a factor in this incident

On 4/23/19 at approximately 1930 hours, the Manokotak Tribal Police Officer arrested Wesley Aliralria, age 25 of Manokotak, for DV Assault 4 and AST also charged him for Endangering the welfare of a child 2nd Degree. Wesley reportedly assaulted an adult female by throwing her to the ground causing minor injuries. Wesley was also intoxicated and home with two children without a sober person of sufficient age to care for the children. Wesley was held in jail overnight at the Manokotak jail and released the following day.

On 4-22-2019, at approximately 2115 hours, the Togiak VPO arrested Kelley Gamechuck, age, 21 of Togiak after an altercation at a residence in Togiak. Gamechuck was arrested and taken to the Togiak Jail and held until sober. Gamechuck was later released per the bail schedule. Alcohol is a factor in this incident.
