State, wildlife troopers prepare for the holidays

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - State and Wildlife Troopers are out in force this holiday season reminding Alaskans to drive sober and get to their destination safely.

According to a press release from the Department of Public Safety, Alaska State Troopers and Wildlife Troopers are conducting a high visibility enforcement effort, which will run into the early morning hours of New Year's Day. While Troopers will be out to crack down on DUI's, they will also be looking for additional bad driver behaviors such as speeding and driving too fast for conditions.
