FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) On this week's pet of the week, we're not trying to exaggerate, but this dog is low-key adorable.

Meet Loki, a bouncy lab husky mix looking for life time buddy who is just as energetic as he is.

"Hi, my name is Sarah I'm at the Fairbanks North Star Borough Animal Control with my friend Loki. He's a two year old Alaskan Husky Labrador retriever mix. He has a lot of energy. He's been here a couple times because of that so he hasn't had a whole lot of consistency in his life. He needs a family that can just really be a strong hand and help him learn his manners. He wants to be a good boy. He just hasn't had anyone able to teach him how to be a good boy.

He's said to do well around children is what his previous owners said. He's been keeping his kennel clean here. And they said that when he is crated he will whine to let you know that he needs to go outside. He's a pretty standard friendly guy we think he would be a great family dog for someone who has the time and dedication to teach him how to be a good boy. If dogs aren't quite your style we have lots of other critters here. We have lots of cats and guinea pigs. And Even a turtle. So come on down and see if we can find you a new friend. Yeah, you’re a good boy."
