FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Jay Jay is a rebel whose only cause is to be your new best friend.
Let's go meet News 13's Pet of the Week.
"Hi I'm Kimberly and this week's Pet of the Week is Jay. Jay Jay came to the shelter because he doesn't get along well with cats and he was returned before that because he is really good at escaping fences. Jay Jay is kind of mellow, he is actually a pretty laid back guy, and he walks pretty nicely on a leash. He loves people and he even gets along well with children. Jay Jay gets along well with some dogs but he doesn't like a lot of his neighbors here at the shelter, so if you do have other dogs, mutual visits are recommended. Jay Jay has chased multiple cats in multiple homes so he definitely wants to go to a home without other small animals, including cats, because nobody would be happy. Jay Jay is really well housebroken and he is crate trained, and he has really good overall household manners. He is really nice to walk on a leash, he doesn't pull very much, and I am sure he could use more training as all dogs can when they get into a new home, with a new family dynamic. Jay Jay has other dog, cat, and rabbit friends looking for loving homes as well.” Kimberly said.
