FAIRBANKS, Alaska - "Hi I'm Kimberly and this week's Pet of the Week is Toby. Toby is a three year old Alaska Husky Mix who came to the shelter as a stray. No one came to redeem him so he is now available for adoption. He is one of the cuddliest dogs we have and he has been keeping his kennel clean so we think that he is housebroken and was kept as a pet. Toby is really friendly and outgoing and he seems to get along well with other dogs so he would probably be a really great addition to a multi-dog family that is really active. I am not sure how well he is with small animals order children so bringing the whole family down to meet him would be a good idea, and if you have cats or small animals then plan to slowly introduce them and keep everybody safe is always recommended. Toby is, just a real love, he is really affectionate, really playful and he is hoping to find a really active family that enjoys the outdoors as much as he does. He should be kept in a fenced in yard and on a leash because as he has already shown us he will wander and exercise himself if he has the opportunity Toby has other cat, dog, and small animal friends looking for loving homes as well."
