PET OF THE WEEK: Bonnie the dog

Get ready to meet Bonnie the dog in our latest installment of 'Pet of the Week.'

"This week's 'Pet of the Week' is Bonnie," said Kimberly Imbert for the Fairbanks North Star Borough Animal Shelter. "Bonnie is a six month old Alaska Husky and Lab mix. She came to the shelter with her brother Clyde. Their owner didn't have enough time for them due to traveling.
They're real well socialized dogs, they're very, very sweet, and they have gone to things like daycare, so they know how to be very social with other dogs as well.

Bonnie and Clyde are six months old, and they have a lot of great social skills. They have not been house broken yet, or gone to basic obedience, so that will be very important for their new family to do with them. They are still puppies thought it would be relatively easy to house-break them with consistency and positive training.

Bonnie is a really cuddly and really sweet girl, and she could go to a home either with her brother or without him. Bonnie also has other dog, cat, and small animal friends looking for loving homes at the shelter."
