North Pole man's sentence includes second multi-thousand dollar restitution

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - A North Pole man charged with multiple burglary, fraud, and theft cases was sentenced in Superior Court Thursday after taking a plea deal with the state.
Shanon Alan Clifford Stowell was sentenced to 6 years and 7 months in Prison, with an additional 11 months of probation.
Stowell was additionally ordered to pay his victims restitution of just over 97 thousand dollars.
One of Stowell's cases resolved Thursday involved the theft of more than 100 thousand dollars in guns, coins, and jewelry from a North Pole home in 2017.
His girlfriend, and another friend were charged as accomplices in that case - and both were also sentenced to time in prison.
Stowell's Father was charged as an accomplice as well, but those charges have been dropped.
Stowell is already serving a 10 year federal prison term for stealing 50 guns, along with parts from a storage space in 2015.
In that case, he was also ordered to pay more than 70 thousand dollars in restitution.
