Names of officers involved in shooting on Sunday released

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Alaska State Trooper's have released the names of the troopers involved in a Sunday night shooting that left 25-year-old Kevin Ray McEnulty of Fairbanks dead.
According to Trooper dispatch, AST Sergeant Aaron Mobley, and Trooper Michael Kay, fired their service weapons which lead to McEnulty's death.
Troopers, Fairbanks Police, and University of Alaska Fairbanks Police responded to a call regarding shots fired at a business on Loftus Road at approximately 8:40 p-m Sunday.
According to Deputy Commander, Lieutenant Brian Wassmann, McEnulty shot at the business and threatened a person with a firearm,
McEnulty left the business, and was then located by UAF police in the McDonald's parking lot on Geist Road .
Troopers say the suspect brandished a weapon, and was ultimately fired upon by AST.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
