FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) Community members gathered at Pioneer Park today for the 15th annual United Way Fashion Show featuring models from the Fairbanks Resource Agency.

All the clothes were donated from FRA partner Value Village through its Closet Collections pick-up service.
The Closet Collection campaign consists of a number of drop off boxes near Value Village that go directly towards individuals with disabilities.
This year's theme for the fashion show was "Opening Doors." Emily Ennis, the director of FRA explained.
Brenda Riley the Executive Director of United Way expressed her thanks to the audience by saying;
“Thank you so much for being here and helping us raise it. The more that we raise the more that we can give back to the most deserving of organizations among us. Thank you to the Fairbanks resource Agency."
Brenda Riley stated that their donation goal this year was 9 hundred 7 thousand dollars to reflect that Alaska is quote, “907 Strong”. She mentioned that this idea came from the hardships that Alaskan non-profits faced during budget cuts.
