Man who allegedly climbed through dog door pleads not guilty

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Raymond Koonaloak pleaded not guilty to charges of assault, theft and burglary today. According to charging documents, Koonaloak broke into a residence in North Pole earlier this month by crawling through a dog door. He allegedly took a circular saw and a pair of gloves from the house.

A resident of the home confronted Koonaloak outside of the home with a firearm. Koonaloak reportedly charged the homeowner, who then shot at him. No one was injured in the incident, and Koonaloak was taken to Fairbanks Correctional Center.
