Lebon, Dodge vie for State House District One

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Residents living in the heart of Fairbanks have two candidates running for State House District One. We asked candidates Bart LeBon, and Kathryn Dodge, what their first priorities are if they make it to the State House.

LeBon said, "I want to be part of the discussion on how the operating budget is crafted, and that is my beginning point, that should make sense. I know there's other issues that will pop up during the legislative session, but to me it all begins with funding and what we can afford to spend."

Dodge said, "My four big priorities are, A, working together, we just have to do that, B , the sustainable budget, but once we've got those stable, I'm very focused on affordable clean energy and air quality."

They are running to fill the seat that Representative Scott Kawasaki is vacating as he competes for Senate Seat A.
