Jury selection started for man accused of incest, sexual abuse of minors

FAIRBANKS, Alaska The jury selection for a man charged with sexual abuse of a minor has started in Fairbanks superior court.

50-year-old Mark King of Fairbanks was indicted on 2 counts of sexual abuse of a minor in the first degree, 3 counts of second degree sexual abuse of a minor, 1 count of incest and 3 counts of sexual abuse of a minor in the third degree.

The prosecution and defense heard from potential jurors today. Judge Thomas Temple expects jury selection to be completed today and opening statements tomorrow.
