FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Representatives from the Alaska State House Finance Committee are traveling the state to hear from the public regarding Governor Mike Dunleavy's proposed budget.

A public hearing will be held at the Fairbanks Legislative Information Office at 1292 Sadler Way, on Sunday March 24th from 2-5 p.m.

In a press release from the Alaska House Majority, House Speaker Bryce Edgmon, of Dillingham said, "Cuts and efficiencies are possible and necessary, but these proposed reductions would have significant impacts on elders and youth, rural and urban residents, and every facet of our economy...because of this stark reality, all budget decisions must be informed by input from people across our state."

Alaska House Majority Spokesperson, Austin Baird, said Representatives Wilson and LeBon will be at the public hearing held in Fairbanks.
