FAIRBANKS, Alaska - A home invasion in North Pole was thwarted Sunday morning after the homeowner pulled a gun on the suspect.

According to Alaska State Troopers, 18 year old Raymond Koonaloak of Utqiagvik allegedly entered the home through a dog door, and stole a circular saw and a pair of gloves.

The homeowner confronted Koonaloak outside and held him at gunpoint.

Koonaloak then charged the homeowner who fired a shot.

No one was injured during the incident.

Troopers arrested Koonaloak for burglary, assault, theft, and criminal trespass... and then transported him to Fairbanks Correctional Center.
