FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The local group that owns Fairbanks Memorial Hospital is about to acquire Sportsmedicine Fairbanks.
Established by Doctor Cary Keller in 1986, Sports-medicine Fairbanks is well known for its high quality orthopedic care, and support of Interior and collegiate athletic programs.
The medical facility will become part of the Tanana Valley Clinic at the beginning of the New Year, and will remain in its current location at 1919 Lathrop Street in the Medical Dental Arts Building.
CEO of Foundation Health Partners, Doctor Greg Johnson, says that the purchase of Sports-medicine Fairbanks is one of the many steps to expand health care options for the community.
