And Now, The Fairbanks Light Opera Theatre Is Taking A Their Rendition Of A Famous High-School Drama And Bringing It To Stage Starting This Friday.
The Story Is Of A 17-Year Old Veronica Sawyer And Her Desire To Stake Her Place Amongst A Popular Group Of Girls Known As The "Heathers." The Drama Is Filled With Twists And Turns As Veronica Is Tries To Find The Silver Lining Between Popularity And Doing What Is Right.

"You get to be so immersed in the story, you get to be right there it's not on a screen, you get to see all the pure emotions that come through these actors that we've been working on for months now. And it's really fun to see like how the characters change and shift throughout the show that you really can see in a movie, you can’t see through a screen. the actual physical emotions that these characters go through," said Travers.
