FBI team searches for missing Alaska girl

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - A team of 17 FBI agents is looking for a 10-year-old girl who has been missing for a week in Kotzebue. Although Alaska State Troopers are the lead agency in the case, the addition of the Federal Bureau of Investigation is an indication that what was once a search and rescue mission is now a law-enforcement investigation.

Ashley Johnson Barr was last seen playing with friends at a local park in Kotzebue. Lieutenant David Hanson of AST is confident that someone in the community knows what happened to Ashley, and urges anyone who has any information to come forward.
