Alex Ferry, 23, has been charged with burglary, and seven counts of criminal mischief. Charging documents say he caused over $3,000 in damage to vehicles downtown, and between $10-20,000 of damage to the El Dorado.

A witness said he saw Ferry using a chair to hit cars and break windows and the door at the El Dorado. Ferry also allegedly kicked in the door of a resident on 4th avenue, causing roughly $500 dollars of damage.

Mario Velderrain, owner of the El Dorado, said they watched the surveillance footage of the attack and can't believe something like this happened to him.

"We've been here for almost eight years you know. We never had anything like this happen before... so rude, so violent, we have captured in the video the way the person was acting toward the property, and that is a scary thought, something that could happen to anybody."

Charging documents go on to say that when authorities contacted Ferry, he seemed confused but cooperative. He told police that he started drinking at Eielson early Friday evening... vaguely remembers taking an Uber to the Red Fox and then after that, he says he felt like he was in a dream, but he did remember being destructive.
