FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Governor Mike Dunleavy announced a new appointee for commissioner of the Department of Administration.
According to a press release, Kelly Tshibaka is a born and raised Alaskan, with over sixteen years of leadership experience in federal government and intelligence oversight roles.
The last appointee for the Department of Administration Commissioner, Jonathon Quick, resigned after questions regarding the credibility of his statements during his confirmation hearing, and in his resume.
The appointment of Tshibaka must go before the legislature before she could replace acting commissioner, Paula Vrana.
