FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) Chena Bingo reopened its doors on Sunday, May 10th.

The riverside attraction has taken social distancing precautions to preserve the safety of its patrons. All attendees must wear facemasks and maintain distance from others. Tables can only be shared by those who are coming from the same household.

In addition, temperatures are being taken at the door to ensure that symptomatic individuals do not participate.

On its first night, the building met its limited capacity, which was set by the governor's Phase 2 distancing requirements. When that capacity was reached, some patrons waited outside for space to become available, or for a later time to return.

According to Sepa Tagovailoa, the Operations Manager at Chena Bingo, both familiar and unfamiliar faces were seen at the event. Among the unfamiliar were those from neighboring villages.
