Busy weekend for Alaska State Troopers

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Alaska State Troopers responded to multiple calls over the weekend.
On Saturday December 22, just after 8 p.m., a Trooper in Fairbanks was conducting a traffic stop on a vehicle on Fairbanks Street near the Post Office when another vehicle collided with the Trooper's patrol vehicle.
According to trooper dispatch, the driver - Alyssa Lauffenberger, age 20 from Fairbanks - collided with the patrol vehicle, and admitted to being distracted by the passengers in her car.
The report also states that Lauffenberger was issued a summons with a mandatory court appearance for Negligent Driving, Driving with License Revoked, and Driving in Violation of a License Limitation.
There have been no reports of injury from the collision.
Both vehicles were damaged and had to be towed away from the scene, and officials say Alcohol was not a factor.
Troopers also responded to two separate domestic violence calls - one resulting in the arrest of Jason Clark, and another in which Jammel Turner was arrested.
Both men where remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center without incident.
Clark was arrested on charges of Harassment in the First Degree, two counts of Assault in the Fourth Degree, and one count of Interfering with the Report of a Domestic Violence Crime.
Turner is being held on charges of Domestic Violence Assault in the Third Degree.
