FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) Traffic in the Badger Road area may be impacted as road striping begins on Tuesday September 3rd. The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities says striping will last about two weeks, starting at 9:30 a.m. every day, and continuing into the late evening. AK DOT warns that it takes 30 minutes to an hour for the paint to dry, so you may not be able to access your driveway or side street for up to an hour due to wet paint.
Crews will not paint major intersections between 4 and 6 p.m. Lines will be painted starting from Bradway to Peridot, Peridot to Hurst, Old Badger to Lakloey, and Lakloey to Dennis. Then they will go back and paint symbols.
