Alaska State Troopers seeking public assistance for triple homicide suspect

FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) Alaska State Troopers are seeking public assistance in locating Juan Camarena, 51, of Wasilla. Camarena is a person of interest in a recent triple homicide which occurred in the Wasilla area. Camarena is a 200-pound 6-foot tall Hispanic male, and should be considered dangerous.

On November 2, 2019, Alaska State Troopers discovered two bodies off of Knik Knack Mud Shack road in Wasilla. The bodies were tentatively identified as belonging to Michael Attwood, 25, of Big Lake, and Donna Marie Campos, 37, of Wasilla. On November 5, 2019, at 2:30 p.m., a third body was identified as belonging to Alyssa Jimenez, 28, of Big Lake. Investigators had been concerned for Jimenez’s safety as she was reportedly with Attwood and Campos just prior to their deaths. The circumstances surrounding her disappearance are unknown. Next of kin of all three victims have been contacted.

Autopsies and positive ID’s will be done by the State Medical Examiner’s Office. All three deaths are being treated as a homicide investigation.
