FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) Bail has been raised for Paul Worman, the foster parent accused of sexual abuse, from $50,000 to $150,000. Judge Brent Bennett raised the bail for Worman at a court hearing this week.

56-year-old Worman has been charged with 18 counts of sexually abusing minors beginning in the 1990's. He was a foster care provider for almost 30 years.

When bail was originally set, there was only one victim and two counts against Worman but since then, the state has added 16 additional charges.

Worman's defense is expected to contest the amount at a later hearing.
