President and CEO of Doyon Limited, Aaron Schutt, updated the chamber on what's happening in their different areas of business.
Schutt says one part of Doyon's future is their new Rig 26 on the North Slope. It will be North America's largest land rig.
In 2019, Doyon acquired an oil pipeline in North Pole from Golden Valley Electric Association, which Schutt says helps build out their utility portfolio.
Schutt says Doyon also has multiple natural resource exploration projects ongoing.
"We're just a vibrant company, we've been growing, since I've joined, very rapidly. 2006 was when I started at Doyon, we've had a lot of success, and we're very proud to be headquartered here in Fairbanks, and kind of growing across the country and bringing lots of jobs and lots of income to Interior Alaska," said Schutt.
Doyon will be holding their annual meeting on March 20th in Fairbanks.
