Alternative Baseball, an organization for those with disabilities, look to expand to Alaska

The Alternative Baseball Organization, based out of Dallas, Georgia is looking to make roots in Alaska bringing the sport to those with autism and other disabilities.

The 115th Midnight Sun Game was close to being cancelled, but the Fairbanks Adult Amateur Baseball League saved the day.

When the Alaska Goldpanners canceled their season in late April, the historic Midnight Sun Game was in jeopardy. With careful coordination, the 115th edition of the storied contest will go on.

The Yukon Quest International announced that the 1,000 mile race will happen in 2021, but will be in two separate races. One in Alaska, and the other being held in Yukon.
