FAIRBANKS, Alaska - For the second consecutive day, the West Valley Boys soccer team defeated a team from the Kenai Peninsula.
The Wolfpack defeated the Soldotna Stars 4-0.
The Wolfpack opened this one up with a goal just four minutes in.
They never took their foot off the gas, scoring one more goal in the first half, and then closing out the win by finding the back of the net two more times, once in the 64th minute and one more time in the 78th.
Seth Thomas led the Wolfpack in scoring with two goals, while the other two were provided by Vaughn Simpson and Garrett Crane.
Not only was the offense firing, but West Valley's defense was staunch, only allowing six shots on goal, all of which were stopped by Goaltender Kristaps Bareika.
This win will bring the Wolfpack up to 2-0 in this very young season.
