West Valley boys soccer team continue undefeated start

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The West Valley Boys Soccer team continued their undefeated start in this young season by shutting out the Eielson Ravens on the Turf Fields.
The Wolfpack won 8-0 while allowing some of their younger players to get in on the action. ​
Sophomore Jonathan Bonar netted five goals to lead the Wolfpack in scoring while Ben Conn and Nathan Mckay split the victory in goal. ​
West Valley will be in action again tonight against another Division 2 opponent, the Hutchison Hawks. ​
Down in the Kenai Peninsula the North Pole Soccer teams were able to end their scoreless drought, but still suffered defeats. ​
In the girls game, the Soldotna Stars won 6-1. ​
Breeauna O'rear scored the lone Patriot goal. ​
The Boys game saw a 3-3 tie with 26 minutes remaining, but Soldotna ended up winning 7-3. ​
Skyler Denny netted all three goals for the Patriots, earning a hat trick in the process. ​
The Patriots will wrap up their trip down south tonight against Kenai Central.
