West Valley Soccer sweeps North Pole in non-conference matchup

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The West Valley and North Pole soccer teams were in action last night on the FYSA Turf Fields.
The Wolfpack were victorious in both of these non-Conference battles, first winning the boy's game 6-1. ​
Seth Thomas and Michael Dow shared the scoring lead for the Wolfpack, both knocking in two goals. ​
Freshman Adam Raygor and Junior Garrett Crane registered the other two goals for the now 6-0 Wolfpack boys. ​
Daniel Crutcher secured the lone North Pole goal of the night. ​
The West Valley girls were also victorious in what was their season opener. ​
They defeated North Pole 1-0. ​
Regan Gray scored the only goal of the game in the first half, and then the Pack held strong on defense to secure the Non-Conference win. ​
Next up for these two teams, North Pole will host Wasilla tonight, while West Valley will play the Warriors on the turf on Friday.
