After finishing 10th overall in day one, Kendall Kramer was able to win gold earlier today in the Junior Sprint event.
After winning both heats to advance, Kramer then won the final with a 3 minute 56 second time, finishing 4 seconds in front of the next competitor.
This is the second consecutive day as the top finisher in the under 18 class for Kramer, who finished Thursday's 10k Classic race in 32 minutes and 20 seconds.
Fellow Alaskans Molly Gellert and Hannah Halverson both finished today's events with Bronze Medals, while Fairbanks' Logan Hanneman also earned a third place finish.
