FAIRBANKS, Alaska - There were two different Flag Football games last night.
The action started at West Valley High School, where the Wolfpack were able to defend their home field against the North Pole Patriots.
The Pack were victorious in a 48-0 effort.
The Defense was firing on all cylinders for West Valley, they finished the day with a shutout and three scores off of interceptions.
Ashlyn Bray earned two Pick-6s while Sheridan Blasey finished with one.
Offensively, the Wolfpack earned two touchdown passes from Tessa Lindberg and two long touchdown runs by Tana Weckwerth.
Weckwerth scored on a 58 and a 40 yard run, she also caught one of Lindberg's passes to finish the day with three scores.
The patriots fall to 0-5 on the year while the Wolfpack move up to 4-2.
These two teams will play again tonight.
We talked to Weckwerth after last night's game about what helped the Wolfpack click on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball.
"Tessa threw amazing passes throughout the whole game. It felt really good. Seeing it, and being on the defense... It felt really good. We've been working on defense a lot. I felt that, just everybody clicked. The whole game, we were clicking. We were clicking before practice, during the walkthrough, and during warm-ups, we clicked a whole bunch," said Weckwerth.
