West Valley Boys outlast Kodiak; Eielson splits against Nenana

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The West Valley Wolfpack Boys also hosted a non-conference opponent last night, the Kodiak Bears.
In what may have been the quickest game of the year, the Wolfpack defeated the Bears 43-31 in a contest that lasted a little over an hour.
The Pack outscored Kodiak 25-13 in the first half and were able to ride that momentum from there to secure the win.
Terrell Peter led West Valley with 10 points while Demarcus Davis and Koen Campbell both dropped 8.
The Pack will now head down south to compete in the Elks tournament down in Palmer.
Outside of city limits, the Eielson Ravens hosted the Nenana Lynx in a double-header.
The Eielson boys were dominant in their 97-23 victory.
Christian Bolton finished with 23 points to lead the Ravens in Scoring while DeAndre Ford dropped 18.
In the girl's game, Nenana was victorious, securing a 71-15 win.
The Eielson girls are still searching for their first win of the season, sitting at 0-7 on the year.
