Weekend wrap-up for Interior High School Basketball teams

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Alaska Airlines Classic came to an end on Saturday in Anchorage, and our two Interior teams both suffered losses to bring an end to tournament play.
In the third place game, the United Longhorns from Laredo Texas defeated West Valley 57-38.
The Longhorns were led by a 24 point night from Andy Pompa while Terrell Peter led the Pack with 13 points.
The Monroe Catholic Rams fell in the seventh place game to the Chugiak Mustangs, dropping their tournament finale 54-48.
Owen Lewis led Chugiak with 13 points while Monroe's Izak Lohrke led both teams in scoring, dropping 20.
West Valley finished the tourney with a 1-2 record while Monroe went 0-3.
For our other Interior teams in action away from home, the Eielson Ravens fell to the Nome-Beltz Nanooks in Nome.
After Eielson won Friday's game 84-62, The Nanook Boys got revenge with a 64-59 win on Saturday.
In the girls game, the Nanooks finished a weekend sweep with a 57-32 win on Saturday.
And, last but certainly not least, the Delta Huskies defeated Dillingham 65-40 in their final game of the RAVN Tournament in Bethel.
