FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The UAF Swimming team has signed two Alaskan Swimmers for the 2018 season.
Camille Dayton and Whitney McArthur will be joining the Nanooks next year.
Dayton will be coming to us from Colony High School, where she was a four-year Letter winner, team captain, and school record holder in the 100 yard butterfly and the 200 yard individual medley.
She also holds the region record for the 100 yard butterfly.
Dayton was voted the team's most Valuable swimmer in 2015, 2016, and 2017.
She is also a member of Colony's Technical Honor Society and will be looking to major in Biology next fall.
McArthur swam for the Sitka Wolves and won a state championship this season as the Lead-off swimmer in the 200 yard Freestyle relay.
She has won four individual region titles in the 100 yard backstroke, 50 yard freestyle, 200 yard freestyle relay, and 200 yard medley.
Like Dayton, McArthur was also a four year letter winner and team captain for her squad.
She will also be looking to major in Biology when she arrives on campus in 2018.
