The Hebard Homecoming begins: Oregon Ducks practice in the Patty Center

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Oregon Ducks are officially in town for their contest tomorrow night against the Nanook Women's Basketball team.
Fairbanks' own Ruthy Hebard will be competing at the Patty Center for the first time in a college game.
Ruthy and the rest of the Ducks hit the gym this afternoon to get ready for tomorrow night's contest.
They will also be taking some time to enjoy the area, including a trip to Chena Hot Springs tonight.
We caught up to Hebard after practice about how excited she and the team are for this rare experience.
"I'm super excited. I had some of my teachers facetime me this morning and say they were excited to see me. So I just can't wait to see all the fans here and get the whole community in the gym. It's going to be really fun. It's not every day I get to go to Alaska and play, so this might be my last time playing in Alaska so I'm really glad that everyone is going to come out and see," said Hebard.
