North Pole falls to South while Eielson and Monroe earn victories on the road

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Here at home, the North Pole Patriots hosted South Anchorage on Saturday night.
The Patriots will still be searching for their first win after falling 52-32.
North Pole actually jumped out to an early lead and led 20-15 at halftime.
Unfortunately for the Pats, they were outscored 37-12 in the second half.
The Patriots now fall to 0-3 on the year.
Our two Division 3 teams were victorious on the road.
The Eielson Ravens were in Seward, where they defeated the Seahawks 45-0.
Jaydenn Manibusan was once again the MVP for the Ravens, finishing with 225 rushing yards and three Touchdowns.
And in Homer, the Monroe Catholic Rams defeated the reigning State Runner-up Homer Mariners in a 28-27 thriller.
The Rams secured their win by stopping what would have been the game-winning two point conversion for the Mariners.
Josh Gray ran for 123 yards in the win for the now 2-1 Rams.
