North Pole Volleyball wins 5-set thriller over Hutchison

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Interior saw its longest Volleyball match of this season last night out in North Pole.
After over two hours of play, the North Pole Patriots defeated the Hutchison Hawks in five sets.
The Hawks won the first 25-21, but the Pats were able to bounce back to win the second set 25-15.
Hutchison took the third set by the same score, but North Pole was able to force a fifth and final set with a 25-19 win in the fourth.
North Pole was finally able to put the visitors away with a 15-11 win in the finale.
After securing their first win of the year, the Patriots are 1-1 while the Hawks fall to the same record.
Hutch will host Lathrop next Tuesday for their next game while North Pole will be off until August 31st when they host Monroe Catholic.
