North Pole Softball splits doubleheader

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The North Pole Softball team pulled double-duty last night with two games at the South Davis Softball Complex.
The Pats started off the night with a big win over the Hutchison Hawks. ​
After the Hawks built a 2-0 lead in the first inning, the Patriots responded to win 20-5. ​
Cece Martinez went 3 for 3 at the plate with three RBIs while Sierra Glade earned the win pitching. ​
The Patriots then fell 7-2 to the West Valley Wolfpack in a non-conference contest. ​
Both West Valley and North Pole, along with Delta and Lathrop will be heading down to the Matsu Valley for the Rally in the Valley Tournament.
