FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The North Pole Patriot Hockey team continued their hot streak as we get closer and closer to the State Championships.
The Pats defeated the Hutchison Hawks 5-1 earlier this week.
North Pole scored once in both the first and third periods, but their win was really secured with a three goal effort in the middle frame.
Daniel Crutcher earned his fourth hat trick of the season while Bradley Hallum and Devon Clark added the other two goals for the Patriots.
Kody Genz, Mason Wilber, Seth Theriault, Cody Benjamin, and Caleb Peters all earned an assist while Goaltender Katy Vinton stopped 24 of the 25 shots fired her way to finish with a win between the pipes.
That was the third win in a row for the Pats, who will take on the Pack in the Big Dipper Ice Arena tonight.
They will close out their season against Delta and Tok before shifting their focus to the Division 2 State Championship in Wasilla.
