FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The National Signing period began last night for High School Athletes, and here in Alaska all eyes were down in Anchorage where Alissa Pili signed to play basketball for USC.
The Dimond High School standout is a five star recruit and is the 40th ranked High School Player in the entire country.
She has been named the Gatorade Alaska Player of the year in each of the past three seasons and is the reigning Max Preps National female athlete of the year.
She has state titles in Volleyball, Track and Field, Wrestling, and, of course, basketball.
The six-footer will now be taking her talents to the University of Southern California, a division 1 school who are members of the Pac-12 conference, the same school where her brother Brandon plays football.
"Great, just representing our family and our last name and Alaska too. Thank God for the talent and strength I've been blessed with and playing all these different sports it's a blessing to show what I can do with people," said Pili.
