Nanook's Basketball beat Black Hills State in conference face-off

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Yesterday our UAF men's basketball team faced Black Hills State in a conference matchup that was highly contested from the get-go. Though it was a tough fight, the nooks pulled ahead and won by a nose at 68 to Black Hill's 64.
The first saw UAF dominate at 38 to 26, followed shortly thereafter with 30 to BH's 38, perhaps another minute away from making the match a tie.
Spencer Sweet of Alaska led his team in points with 20 on the night, with 2 rebounds. Michael Kluting following just behind Sweet with 13 points and 11 rebounds and Tymoryae Glover after that with 12 points and 8 rebounds.
Alaska managed a .377 field-goal average ahead of Black Hill's .323, and a .867 free-throw average to BH's .810.
This matchup brought the nooks up to 2-4 on the season and took down Black Hills to 1-2. Alaska will remain on the road for the time being, and look to take down California State today.
