Nanook Volleyball team earns 13th win of the season; highest win total since 2008

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Alaska Nanook Volleyball team was able to win their third consecutive game, this time with a 3 sets to 1 victory over the Seattle Pacific Falcons.
The Nooks took the first set 25-22 but the Falcons were able to respond with a 25-23 win in the second.
The Nanooks then secured their 13th victory of the year with a 25-22 win in the third set, and a 25-23 effort in the fourth.
Kim Wong stepped up in a big way for the Nanooks, leading the team in kills with 19.
This was the final home game of the year for the Nanooks, who improve to 13-12 overall this year, the Highest win total for the Volleyball team since 2008.
"Just when you think you've had your favorite match they just keep getting better and better. This was a great match to be a part of. So, really proud of these girls. My adrenaline is just running right now. That was fun," said Brian Scott, Head Coach - Nanook Volleyball.
"This team has made strides that I have never seen in any year of volleyball in my life. I'm also looking forward to that Central Washington game. That will be a fun one. They're a great team. I know that if we put out the same defense we did tonight, it's going to be an amazing game to watch," said Wong.
