Nanook Volleyball looks ahead to potentially historic end of the season

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Alaska Nanook Volleyball team will be holding their final two home matchups of the year tonight and Saturday at the Patty Center.
Tonight the Nanooks will be taking on the Saint Martin's Saints.
The Nooks faced the Saints back on October sixth, where they were victorious in a 3-set sweep.
Overall, Saint Martin's is 4-18 overall and 2-14 against Conference opponents.
After tonight's contest, the Nooks will host the Seattle Pacific Falcons on Saturday November 3rd at 7pm.
The Falcons are currently 10-13 overall this year and 8-8 in GNAC Play.
As they approach this final home-stand, the Nooks sit at 11-12 overall and 9-7 in the conference.
That Conference record far surpasses their 5-15 GNAC record from a year ago, but they need one more win to match their overall record from last season.
Two wins and they will officially have their best record in 10 years.
If they are able to win three out of their final four games, they will have their first winning season since 2008.
The Architecht of this turnaround Brian Scott talks about what he looks for his team to accomplish in this final home stretch.
"I'm just looking forward to seeing us as a team grow a little bit more, taking each match what did we learn from that, putting it into practice and getting better from it, we had a tough loss at Concordia, this last weekend. And they just took care of business. They learned, they adapt and they're great at that and I look forward to that each week," said Scott.
