Nanook Swimming continues stay in PCSC Championships

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Nanook Swim team continued their stay in the Pacific Collegiate Swimming and Diving Conference Championships last night, and it continued to be an eventful trip to California.
There were three total top 10 finishes for the Nooks in the Individual and Relay events.
The top finisher was Redshirt Freshman Kaia Norbye in the 50 yard freestyle.
She earned a spot on the podium, taking third place with a time of 23.74 seconds, finishing just .21 seconds behind the top swimmer in the event.
The other top ten finish individually came from Oda Bygdnes in the 200 yard individual medley.
The Norse Sophomore finished seventh in two minutes and 8 seconds.
The Nooks then finished day two with a fourth place finish in the 200 yard freestyle relay.
They will stay in La Mirada California for two more days of the PCSC Championships.
