Nanook Swim team holds final home meet of season;last home event under Scott Lemley

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Alaska Nanook Swim Team held their final home meet of the season against the Loyola Marymount Lions on Saturday.
The Nooks fell 110-94, but still had strong performances in the pool.
Kaia Norbye won two events for the Nooks on Saturday, winning the 50 and 100 yard freestyles.
The Nanooks also earned victories from Erika Kakazu in the 200 yard backstroke, and Clair McElroy in the 200 yard breastsroke.
They were also victorious in both the relay events, taking the 200 yard Medley and the 400 yard freestyle relays.
Since this was the final home meet of the season, Nanook Seniors Sierra Kinworthy, as well as team captains Cassidy Heaton and Cassidy Kelly all dove into the Patty Center Pool for the last time.
This was also the last home contest for head coach Scott Lemley, who will be retiring at the end of the season.
