Nanook Men's Basketball team wins tournament finale with literal last-second layup

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Nanook Men's basketball team also finished up a Thanksgiving tournament down in Billings Montana.
They were victorious against Cal State Dominguez Hills, taking home a dramatic 76-75 win.
Dominquez Hills took a 75-74 lead by sinking a free-throw with only 7 seconds left in the contest.
Aushanti Potts-Woods was then able to drive to the paint and sink a game-winning layup with one second left on the clock to secure the third win in a row for the Nanooks.
Potts-Woods ended the day with 14 points while Spencer Sweet led the team with 20.
Tymoryae Glover dropped 13 points and Alex Martin finished with 10.
Michael Kluting led the team in rebounds with 12 while Isaiah Easaw dished out 6 assists.
The Nanook men are now 3-3 overall and will stay in Montana for one more game, they will begin Great Northwest Athletic Conference play against Montana State Billings.
This will be the first meeting between the Nanooks and their former head coach Mick Durham, who left to take the MSUB Job last spring.
