FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Great Northwest Athletic Conference announced their preseason All-conference team for Men's Basketball.
Senior Guard Alex Baham was the lone Nanook to be named pre-season All-Conference.
This comes off of Baham earning an honorable mention last spring after finishing up his first year with the program.
He was the only player to start in all 26 games last year, earning 299 points in the process, good enough for an average of 11 and a half points per game.
The 6'4" Sharpshooter from Wasilla made 66 shots from behind the three-point line last year, earning a point-458 shooting percentage in the process.
He was the third best 3-point shooter in the conference last season.
His best performance was his 23 point night last December against the Montana State Billings Yellowjackets.
The Nooks will be looking to Baham to be at top form once again this year, which will unofficially begin on November 5th.
They'll be hosting Antelope Valley in an exhibition contest in the Patty Center at 7pm.
